Many people in leadership roles didn't have that in mind from the beginning. Remember being the awesome first-line employee. Maybe tech, sales, customer service, or maintenance. Then a supervisor said:
Hey, you're pretty awesome at your job. How about we have you do something 100% different with minimal training and we'll expect you to be good at it?
Okay, maybe it wasn't that direct, but many people are promoted into management for being good at something else entirely.
Then you succeeded. By doing what you thought was right based on minimal training, but mostly what you've experienced over time.

The Aligned Leader Program
Participants will engage in 9 sessions that will more closely resemble workshops than classes. There will be a wide array of leadership experiences from which everyone can learn. Understanding that adults learn by doing, there will be large and small group work to debate and discuss the topic of the day.
Participant engagement is expected; Folks who want a sit-and-get will enjoy something other than The Aligned Leader.
The program will begin with foundations of leadership and conclude with each participant's vision of how they want to be remembered in their role (and what they’re going to do to make that happen).

1. One Time Payment of $1,947 per person. Organizations sending more than one leader will receive a discount for the 2nd and subsequent participants.
2. Monthly Payment of $750 for 3 months.

The Aligned Leader came to me when I was thinking about how leaders get to the position they're in. One boss might be a joy outside of work and an absolute mess at work. Two questions:
1) How can that be?
2) Isn't that exhausting?
Supported with my research in job satisfaction and burnout, I started a kind of root-cause analysis. The question is not "How did you get here," rather, "From where did you start and how was the journey?"
Yep, I've earned degrees, including the doctorate. I'm aware that some folks who get the PhD think they know everything about everything. I know a lot about my topic. More importantly, I learned how to ask better questions due to my natural curiosity and my desire for each person to work in a space that they can succeed without disregarding who they are.
This is how we get to work. This is my program, my presentation style. No script, no polished videos. Just me, you, and the exploration of your journey from today to becoming your version of an Aligned Leader.
